MA LEADERSHIP IN SPORT

About the course

ISH runs the innovative MA Leadership in Sport with Loughborough University London

Loughborough University is 1st in the world for the seventh time running for sport-related subjects (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017-2023).

The MA offers a flexible student experience, suitable for busy professionals, providing the tools to become leaders in sport.

The 12-month or 24-month non-residential course is designed so that students can stay in their jobs while studying.

The MA features evening seminars, both online and in-person in London. This hybrid delivery widens access to include those who do not live locally.

The programme combines the latest academic research alongside unique events with leading practitioners.

Sports science has helped our knowledge of sport and informed its academic study, but understanding sport today – team performance and sports business – now relies on the critical grasp of societal and cultural forces. It is time for a balanced and inter-disciplinary approach: time for sports humanities.
