This document provides details of the Academic Appeals Procedures for students.

Section 2: Academic Appeals Process

Within 10 working days upon receipt of a decision / dispatch of published results student submits a completed academic appeal form to ish@sportshumanities.org

Appeals will be reviewed by the Programme Director (or nominee) to determine if there are reasonable grounds to proceed. There are two possible outcomes.

1) There are no grounds and the appeal is rejected (student normally notified within 10 working days).

2) Applicable ground(s) – appeal investigated

Students should receive an outcome letter within 10 working days outlining the findings of the appeal and the outcome reached.

If the student does not agree with the conclusion of their appeal - they are entitled to request a review of the decision within 5 working days. At this point the student is entitled to enter into collaborative partner university appeals process.
